Arkansas artist, Kathy Sanders, is noted for canvases
filled with light, energy, and vivid color. Her art reflects
her wide variety of interests and activities. She and her
husband, Tom, are extensive travelers and she is
always on the lookout for new ideas for her paintings.
Her colorful works include portraits, landscapes and
abstracts and she enjoys experimenting with various
textures and surfaces. Her paintings may be seen in
homes and businesses here in Arkansas as well as
Oklahoma and Texas. Upscale interior designer,Tom
Chandler, uses her work extensively and she has done
commissions for a number of clients in the region.
Although Kathy has lived in Oklahoma for most of her
life, it was in Arkansas that she launched her full time
art career in 2003. Since that time she has opened her
own gallery and studio. She never tires learning new
concepts and techniques and she specializes in Old
World fresco's.
